Frequently asked questions
Is the video quality lost when I trim?
No — we use ffmpeg's stream-copy mode by default, which extracts the kept portion bit-for-bit without re-encoding. The trimmed clip is the exact same quality as the original.
Can I cut a section out of the middle of the video?
Yes. Trim once to keep the part before the cut, trim again to keep the part after, then use our free Video Merger to join them back together. Three clicks total.
What's the maximum file size?
100 MB per upload. For larger files, compress first using our free Video Compressor or split the source into chunks before trimming.
Do you support 4K video?
Yes — we keep the original resolution and frame rate. 4K, 1080p, 720p, vertical 9:16, all preserved exactly.
Do you store my videos?
