Is the audio quality lossless?
If you pick WAV output, yes — uncompressed, bit-for-bit. MP3 output uses the source file's original bitrate as the encoding target, so quality stays as close to the source as MP3 allows. For maximum quality, pick WAV.
What audio formats can I export to?
MP3 (universal compatibility), WAV (uncompressed), and AAC (used inside MP4 files). MP3 is the default for most use cases.
Can I extract audio from a YouTube video?
Indirectly — download the YouTube video first using a downloader of your choice (or yt-dlp), then upload it here to extract the audio. We don't download from YouTube directly because of their ToS, but we'll process the file once you have it.
What's the file size limit?
100 MB per upload. For longer videos, trim first using our free Video Trimmer or compress with the Video Compressor.
Is there a watermark on the audio?
